She was born in Autauga County, Alabama to the late Wyatt Carter and Mitchell Rawlinson Hedgepeth. Georgia was a retired supervisor from the textile industry and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Prattville, Alabama. In her free time, Georgia enjoyed sewing, painting and traveling.
Georgia is survived by a son; Joseph W. Willis and wife Betty of Prattville, Alabama; daughter, Carol W. Bramlett and husband, Winfred, of Fair Play; son in law, Mike Bartlett, of Westminster, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Georgia is preceded in death by a son, Allen Willis; daughter, Wanda Bartlett; brothers, Robert Carter, James Hedgepeth; sisters Evelyn Dawson, Willodean Brown, and Patsy Lundy.
