Jack E. Allison, Sr., age 96, of Flower Mound, TX., departed this life for his eternal home July 18, 2022, in Lewisville, TX. He was born March 12, 1926, in Erie, MO., to Elmer and Zona Allison.

After graduating from White Rock High School in Jane, MO., he managed the family's general merchandise store from 1944 until 1946, when he joined the Army. He served in the U.S. 8th Army of Occupation in Japan and received an Honorable Discharge. He spent most of his working years in the Kansas City, Mo., area working for Kroger's and Muehlbach grocery stores.

Jack's parents, and Jack's wife, the former Doris Jean Beaver, preceded him in death. Survivors: Children Jack, Jr. (Judy) of Flower Mound, TX., and Cheryl Myers (Dan) of West Plains, Mo., three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are set for 10 am Sat., Aug. 6, 2022, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospital.
