Graveside memorial services are scheduled for Marguerite Moss Hendershot, 88, formerly of Mer Rouge and Bastrop for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17,2004 at the Mer Rouge Cemetery with Rev. Newton Horne officiating. Mrs. Hendersot died on June 30,2004 in Houston, Tx.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Tawney of Houston,Tx. and Dorothy Barfield of Rock Hill, S.C.; three sons, Ford Hendershot,Jr. of Idabel, OK., William Hendershot of Groesbeck, Tx. and Don Hendershot of Waynesville, N.C.; two sisters, Sadilee Dade of Mer Rouge, La. and Jackie Carter of Reno NV.; one brother, Fred Moss of Mer Rouge, La. and nine grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ford Hendershot,Sr.; grandson, Jack Voss Smith and two sisters, Bernice Akers and Maude Pennington.
