Born in Malone, NY., June 30, 1966, he was the son of the late Arnold and Betty Martin French. He graduated from Brushton-Moira High School in 1984.
Kelly was employed by the Town of Brandon, Alger Farm in Chateaugay, NY., and lastly Childstock Farm in Malone, NY.
He was a member of the N.R.A. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, trapping and garage sales. Kelly was an avid NASCAR fan and his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. His favorite times were spent with his family especially his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Bonnie French and Timothy and Tracey French all of North Bangor, NY., one nephew, Allen Smith, three nieces, Shawna French- Holmes and her husband, Zach Holmes, Shani Holcomb and Nina French and her companion, Adam Dishaw and several great nieces and nephews, Nevaeh Scott, Logan, Garrett, Julian, McKenzie and Dawson Smith, Liya and Owen Holmes and Alannah and Remington Dishaw.
