Matthew Blaine Baldwin, 60 of West Union, WV. Born in Norristown, PA on May 5, 1960 and went to be with our Heavenly Father, The Most High on July 7, 2020 at United Hospital Center. He is the son of Tony and Gail Drabnis, along with his siblings; Kirk Koger, Greg Goodson, Danielle Henderlong, Greg Drabnis, and Krissy Linderman. His wife, his beloved, Melinda Baldwin shared thirty -six years of marriage. Where they grew in love and learned the true meaning of being in a marriage that sought the direction of Elohim, God above. Yoked together by the grace of Yah. They raised up their three children, Josh Baldwin and his love, Jessica. Daughter Amy Baldwin and her fiancé Naaman Maxey, and Sandra Baldwin-Cotter and her husband Kevin Cotter. He was the loving Grampy of Hunter, Jenna, and Annabella Baldwin, Gavin Ripp, and Reagan Cotter. Matthew was a man of valor and compassion. He stood tall in his cowboy hat and used phrases with his children, such as, “Arise, Ye’ children of Galilee and walk.” He did the work of the Messiah, teaching as a minister and feeding His sheep. He served in the United States Navy from December 18, 1979 to December 16, 1982 and the United States Air Force November 27, 1985 to November 26, 1989 as an F-14 aviation structural mechanic. His legacy is his family and the love that he continuously shared with those in his life. The love of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach and how he learned to keep The Sabbath Holy. A walk forged from fire and stepping into grace. Finding His Shalom. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. in the W.V. National Cemetery, Pruntytown with Pastor Bob McClanen presiding. Full Military Graveside rites will be accorded by the Taylor County Veterans Organizations. The family will receive friends in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 56 Front St. West Union on Monday, July 13, 2020 after 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
