Jon Randall "Randy" Morrison, 61, of Lexington, Indiana, left the earth on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on August 26, 1958 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son of the late John Morrison and Lizzie Belle (Hampton) Morrison. Randy was a former foreman for Louisville Paving and Construction in Louisville, Kentucky. Randy enjoyed good beer and good company. He was a spiritual man that often entrusted his company with sincere bits of wisdom. A favorite character of his, Master Po, said, “Battles are waged on the earth and in the heavens. Within the mind and within the soul. This battle has been won.” He will be missed by all of his “Grasshoppers”. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by an infant sister and a brother in-law Phil Cato. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Joy Morrison Howard and husband Jack of Deputy, Indiana; his son, Bo Dillan Morrison and wife Sarah of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Connie Cato of Marco Island, Florida; four brothers, Roger Griffin and wife Marilyn of Lexington, Indiana, Jimmie Morrison and wife Vickie of Scottsburg, Indiana, Eric Morrison of Lexington, Indiana and Charlie Morrison of Henryville, Indiana, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
