Janet Raye Horton, 60, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 2, 2020.
Janet was born November 24th, 1959 to the late James L Swafford and Nellie D. Robinson. She resided in Harriman Tn for 10 years before returning back to Kingsport, where she spent the remaining years. She was a member of Mt Zion Tabernacle Holiness Church. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband, Micheal Horton; brother, Xavier T Hall; and sister, Kathy Carpenter. She is survived by three daughters, Tonya Horton, LaMonica “Kai” Bell, and Quejuana Horton; son of her late husband, Mark Harold; brothers, Donavon Hall and Edward Bridgeman; one sister, Jacqueline Bridgeman; sister in law, Patricia Horton; eleven grandchildren, special to her are Kaia and Kayvon; seven nieces, special to her were Rena, Anissa, and Jennifer; three nephews; six great nephews; and three great nieces; a host of family and friends
