Sherri L. Anderson, a resident of Abbeville, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was 41 years old.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Bethel Baptist Church, Cottonwood Rd., Dothan, with Rev. Danny Bynum, Rev. Andy Bryan, and Rev. Joe Holland officiating. Interment will follow services at Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Bethel Baptist Church. At all other times the family will be at 801 Rice Rd., Taylor, AL. Flowers are being accepted and can be delivered to Sunset Memorial Park at 1808 Barrington Rd.

Sherri was born on July 3, 1966 in Houston County and lived her early years in Dothan. She resided in Taylor since 1980 and was a 1984 graduate of Rehobeth High School. Sherri was employed at the Kountry Korner in Taylor for thirteen years and resided in Abbeville since 2003. Sherri was preceded in death and is now rejoicing in Heaven with her Great-grandmother, Ollie Bell Smith.

Survivors include a son, Ryan Keith Anderson, Abbeville; a daughter, Courtney Paige Anderson, Abbeville; parents, Jerry and Gayle Cook, Abbeville; a brother, Kevin (Holley) Cook, Dothan; sisters, Terri (Stacey) Knighton, Taylor, Jerri (Heath) Carpenter, Dothan, Starla (Michael) Gillis, Abbeville, Melanie Cook, Abbeville, Brandi (Todd) Foss, Clio; Father of her children, Keith Anderson, Dothan; nieces and nephews, Danielle (Duston) Braswell, Chase Knighton, Ella Knighton, Matthew Carpenter, Dylan Carpenter, Zach Foss, Trenton Foss, Christina Gillis, Jared Cook; a great niece, Mallorie Braswell.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Ryan Anderson, Chase Knighton, Stacey Knighton, Heath Carpenter, Todd Foss, and Cody Odom.
