IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Franklin William Burton, 90, of Idaho Falls, died February 24, 2002, at his home.
He was born October 12, 1911 at St. Paul, Minnesota to Franklin and Kathreen Burton. He grew up and attended schools in the area. At the age of 19, he traveled the railroad for 5 years, moving west to Los Angeles, California, were he worked as a truck driver for 35 years.
He married Ellen Loria Riggs in November, 1947 at Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1975 they moved to Apache Junction, Arizona, where he lived for 14 years. His wife died in 1987.
On February 14, 1989 he married Margaret Annie Docker Stroud in Mesa, Arizona. They moved to Idaho Falls, where he lived until the time of his death. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge for 30 years. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.
He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, boating and loved animals.

Burial will be at a later date in Mesa, Arizona.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
