Jerry B. Chischilly, 80, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at his residence in Farmington. Jerry was born in Lake Valley, Dec. 15, 1926, to Tom Chischilly and Mabel (Benally) Chischilly.
Jerry was a member of the Native American Church, and was a known medicine man in the area.
Jerry was preceded in death by Sarah Charley.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Chischilly; his children, Timothea Silversmith, and Beulah John; brother, Norman Benally; and sisters, Bessie Pine and Alta Dodge.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., today, Friday, Aug. 31, at Cope Memorial Kirtland Chapel in Kirtland.
Interment will be at the family cemetery in Chaco Canyon.
