Linda Mae Schneider, 68, of Oklahoma City passed on March 17, 2020 in Oklahoma City after a lengthy illness.

Linda was born in Laramie, WY on May 1, 1951 to Chief - father and Unknown - mother in the Laramie, WY area. Linda was taken in as a baby by Carl & Eva Herkless after being found on Fort Carson Military Base in 1951. Mr. & Mrs. Herkless later adopted Linda in 1959 and raised her in Elwood, Indiana. Linda graduated from Willkie High School in 1969. Linda joined the ARMY in 1975, and was stationed at Ft. Polk, LA.

Her hobbies included ceramics, beadworking and jewelry making. Her love for music included, Eagles, Santana, Chicago and many others. She enjoyed traveling, and lived in Las Vegas, San Fransico, Dallas with Oklahoma being her last residence. Linda was also a long time member of the VA WARRIORS group in the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Linda is survived by her daughter and grandson, Alicia and Jacob Utt of Rockhill, SC. One special friend Esther Rosado of Anadarko, OK. A Celebration of Life is pending for MAY 2020.
