Mrs. Carpenter was a native of Leake County and a longtime resident of Rankin County. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Morton and had worked for many years in the Pearl School Cafeteria. She was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Rawls and husband, William of Brandon; son, Ronnie Carpenter of Flowood; sisters, Vera George of Morton and Mary Helen Rawson of Carthage; brothers, Raymond and Joe Rawson of Morton; grandchildren, Sherie Abney, Ron Carpenter, Wendy Brooks, Crystal Carpenter, Justin Carpenter, Amber Pace and Bethany Rawls; great-grandchildren, Chandler and Paris Abney, Paige Wilson, Kaden and Kinlee Brooks, Kaitlynn and Kylie Carpenter.
Mrs. Carpenter was preceded in death by her husband, Corby Lee Carpenter and daughters, Patricia Pace and Brenda Dean Carpenter.
