Joshua Patterson, 26, the much-loved son of Laurie Patterson, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007.
Celebration of life: Will be at a later date for family and friends.
Memorials: Palliative Care Service at Cook Children's Medical Center, 801 Seventh Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76104, in lieu of flowers.
Josh attended Jo Kelly School in Fort Worth before moving to Gladewater. Josh loved the simple things in life like the sounds of nature and the voices of those who loved him. His smile brightened our world. He will be missed by all that knew him.
We appreciate the loving care given by all the staff of Truman Smith Children's Care Center in Gladewater and the Physicians and staff of Cook Children's Medical Center. Thank you for giving us 26 wonderful years.
Survivors: Mother, Laurie Patterson and friend, Ray Louthan, of Weatherford; grandmother, Martha Ayers and friend, Ed Carroll, of Fort Worth; grandfather, John Barnes, M.D., and wife, Celia Barnes, M.D., of Weatherford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
