Ethel Maude Vincent Peeler, died at 10:30 PM Tuesday, May 25, 1993, South Street Healthcare, where she had been a resident six years. Born March 5, 1911, at Brownsville, KY, she had lived in Lafayette since 1940, coming from Louisville, KY. Her husband, Ben Owen Peeler, Jr. died Feb. 8, 1982. Mrs. Peeler attended First Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are a daughter, Doris (Mrs. Glen) Delon of Logansport; two sons, Donald Lee Peeler and Dale Vincent Peeler; a sister, Mrs. Vercie Hunley, all of Lafayette; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
