The Rev. Edwin F. Wright of 507 W. 6th St., Claremont, died at 10:50 a.m. Monday in the McCabe Rest Home, Pilgrim Place.
Mr. Wright was born July 25, 1875, in Rome, Ga. He was graduated from Emory University and the Moody Bible Institute. On Jan. 16, 1907, he married Alice C. Bower In Julesburg, Colo. He held pastorates in Julesburg and In Ogallala and Friend, Neb.; Steamboat Springs,- Denver and Grand Junction, Colo.; and Scappoose, Ore., prior to his retirement In Portland, Ore., in 1947. He moved to Pilgrim Place In 1954 and was a member of Claremont Church.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Alice C. Wright at the home address, he Is survived by a brother, the Rev. Samuel A. Wright of Redlands, and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Claremont Memorial Chapel, 325 N. Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont. Dr. Harold G. Jones, Dr. Thomas A. Goodwin and Dr. Carl M. Gates 'Will officiate. Interment will be In Oak Park Cemetery, Claremont.
