Katie Mae Phillips, 79, of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:50 A.M., Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL.

She was born July 6, 1941, at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Tommy Rose Jr. and Lillie (Young) Rose Clarry.
She first married Luther Woods, and he preceded her in death.
She then married John Phillips, and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by 5 children, four brothers - S. Clarry of Du Quoin, B. Clarry of Du Quoin, Tommy of Chicago, and Wayne of Chicago, three sisters - Vera of Du Quoin, Marie of Chicago, and Rita of Du Quoin, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one great grandchild - Skylar Rose, three sisters - Doris Beamon, Ollie Clarry, and Shirley Hamilton, three brothers - Luther C. Clarry, Reggie Rose, and Ronnie Rose.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Friends may call from noon until the time of service Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Du Quoin.

Phase Four Restore allows 50 attendees, using social distancing guidelines. The family request everyone to wear masks.
