Catherine Marie Keith, 69 of Momence passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, at Momence Meadows Nursing Home in Momence, Illinois.
She was born January 28, 1951, in Kankakee, Illinois, to Edwin R. Emmart and Patricia M. Braun Emmart.
Catherine married John J. Keith June 15, 1978, at the Trinity Methodist Church in Kankakee, Illinois.
She was a waitress, did some factory work and worked at the 5th Ave Car Wash. Catherine was a crafty lady. Her favorite things to do was to crochet and knit. She loved being around her family and enjoyed her 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Catherine is survived by her sons; John C. Keith, Arkansas, and Andrew Keith of Momence, Illinois. One Daughter; Shawn and Tom O’Shaughnessy of Clifton, Illinois. One Brother; Thomas Emmart of Kankakee, Illinois and one Sister; Theresa and Kenneth Foster of Phoenix, Arizona. She also has many nieces and nephews.
Proceeding Catherine in death are her Parents, one Sister; Mary Phelan, 2 infant Brother’s; Gary and Mark Emmart and her Daughter; Paula Harwood.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn located south of Kankakee.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the families wishes.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Jensen Funeral Home of Bourbonnais, Illinois handled the arrangements.
