Kenny was very handy, able to fix anything! He serviced office machines at Royal Office Products for over 35 years, and served in the United States Army as an MP at Fort Knox. His favorite pastimes were painting, playing the organ, and woodworking. He also enjoyed telling stories about his childhood, playing music, pitching horseshoes, and line dancing. Kenny was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Above all else, Kenny loved spending time with his family and vacationing with them every year.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 62 years Pauline “Polly” (Davenport) Freeman; his children, Jeanette Freeman, Kerry Blondin, both of Evansville, and Roger Freeman (Cherish Piche) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; grandchildren Kayla Blondin, Anthony “Tony” Blondin, and Caroline Freeman; and many nieces and nephews.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Harold Vincent Freeman, Virginia Ruth Schaefer, and Helen Marie Hall.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Published in Courier Press from July 8, to July 9, 2020.
