Thomas Dale Bradshaw of Melrose and formally of La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away at age 79 on Friday July 3, 2020, at his home after a long battle with cancer.

He was born on December 20, 1940, in Bruce, Wisconsin, to Harry and Addie (Osborn) Bradshaw.

He attended school at Glen Flora, Elk Creek, and Blair, Wisconsin; he graduated from Blair High School in 1959. Tom later attended Western Wisconsin Technical Institute and received a degree as a Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technician.

Tom had two children with his first wife Patricia Mahoney, Donna and David. They later divorced.

Tom married Karen Lee; they raised two daughters, Letitia and Tia. After Karen passed away,

Tom met Delores “Dee” Richter (Hayes) and they were married in May of 2016. He welcomed Dee’s two daughters Lori and Stephanie and their families as his own.

Tom had a great love of the outdoors; he considered the woods, rivers and lakes his church. His greatest enjoyment came from deer hunting.

He also enjoyed working with his hands; there wasn’t much he couldn’t fix. He always had one project going in hand and another started in his head.

He had a quick wit and could always make us laugh, especially when we needed it most. He always knew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Addie Bradshaw; wife, Karen Bradshaw; two daughters, Donna Bradshaw and Lori Vinson; grandson, Thomas Arthur Devine; and four brothers, Rex, Peter, Jack and Richard Bradshaw.
