Neal Yeatman Wilkins, 96, of Montross, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. She was a member of Nomini Baptist Church and she enjoyed working within the church and also with the local rescue squad. Some of her favorite things to do were knitting, crocheting, shopping and cooking delicious meals. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and she will be greatly missed by them all. Neal is survived by her son, Raymond Wilkins, Jr. (Jennifer) of Montross; daughter, Connie Hinson (Richard “Ricky”) of Callao; four grandchildren, Stephanie Wilkins, Susan Wilkins, Christy Livesay and Cindy Hayes; six great-grandchildren, Emma Wilkins, Brianna and Brian Ashton, Megan and Ryan Livesay and Brayden and Arrie Hayes; one step-great-grandson, Brennan Witt and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel M. and Josie Etta Rock Yeatman; Husband, Raymond Holly Wilkins, Sr.; and siblings, Florence Pitts, Clara Tolson and Alvin Yeatman. The family will be holding a private graveside service but plan on holding a public memorial service in the future. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be made to the Riverside Tappahannock Hospice at 618 Hospital Road, Suite 201, Tappahannock, VA 22560. The family would also like to give a special thank you to everyone at Riverside Tappahannock Hospice and The Orchard for all the love and care they showed Neal Wilkins.
