Ann M. Mass, 84, formerly of Walbridge, passed away September 7, 2015, at Otterbein Portage Valley. Ann was born on April 18, 1931, to Lawrence and Frances (D'Emilio) Massa in Ceccano, Italy. She married Anthony Joseph Mass on July 23, 1949, at Holy Rosary Church. Ann was a nurse's aide at St. Charles Hospital. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and a former member of the Altar and Rosary Sodality.
Surviving are her loving husband, Anthony "Tony" Mass; children, Patricia (Aaron) Endicott, Anthony (Elizabeth) Mass, and James (Pamela) Mass; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marylou Revills, Joanne (Joseph) Schiavone and brother, Lawrence (Marsha) Massa.
Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent Massa, and sister, Victoria Tudico.
Friends will be received on Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419) 666-3121, with the Rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, September 11, 2015, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner St., Walbridge, Ohio 43465 where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
