Viola Davis fondly known as “Squeaky” was born April 28, 1964 to Albert Chatman and Maxine Davis in Gould, Arkansas. She transitioned from this life Monday, June 29, 2020.
Viola was a 1982 graduate of The Dumas High School. She was employed by Saf-Holland in Dumas, Arkansas. Squeaky enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed attending the Blues Fest and Rodeo with her daughter. Squeaky was such a fun -loving person, you rarely saw her without a smile on her face. She will be missed not only by her family but her many friends.
Viola was preceded in death by her mother Maxine Burnett and her stepfather Toby Burnett.
She leaves to cherish her memories two loving and devoted children, Sa’Londia (Michael) Thomas of Dumas, Arkansas, and Lathario Blackmon of Conway, Arkansas. (2) grandchildren; Kabreonna Reed of Dumas, Arkansas and Sincere Blackmon of Conway, Arkansas, (3) great grandchildren; Kelan Gibbs Jr, Kasey Gibbs, and Khaza Gibbs all of Dumas, Arkansas., (4) brothers; Lester Davis of Mitchellville, Arkansas, Rodney Green of Rowlett, Texas, John Green of Texarkana, Texas and Albert King Jr. of Dumas, Arkansas, and (1) sister; Felecia King of Dumas, Arkansas, a special friend John Metcalf and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
