My great great grandmother's first husband was John York.
He abandoned his family leaving his wife and 5 children in Kaufman County Texas. Their oldest son was 11 years old.
She eventually obtained a divorce from John York in 1883.
She met and married George Abbott (who was a few years younger) in 1884.
They lived in Oklahoma and he worked in the coal mine there.
They lived together off and on for 20 years and were divorced in 1904.
He remarried and died 9 years later of Tuberculosis.
She died of heart failure.

Her grave is not marked but she is buried next to her son in law, William M. McDonald in Sands Springs Cemetery, near Mineola, Texas. at 1930 Wood Co.,TX
