William “Bud” Charles Woodard, 74 of Black Rock, died July 7, 2020 in the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born November 30, 1945 in O’kean; son of the late Willie Woodard and Evelyn Phillips Cochran. Bud was united in marriage to Peggy Sinks in 1965. He was a Molding Manager for over thirty years at Douglas Quickcut in Walnut Ridge. Bud loved to work on his cattle farm, deer hunt and fish, and spend time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy of the home; his mother, Evelyn Cochran of Mt. Home; one son, Barry (Shelly) Woodard of Black Rock; two grandchildren, Maddison (John) Ellis of Hot Springs and Mason Woodard of Black Rock; two great grandchildren, Aidan and Ava Ellis; one brother, Denny (Betty) Woodard of O’Kean; one sister, Loretta Bartell of Mt. Home; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 10 A.M. in the Lawrence Memorial Park with Bro. Gene Cullum officiating. Pallbearers will be Matt Kopp, Jonathan Barnhill, John Ellis, Tommy Walker, Derek and Dewayne Woodard.
