Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Jeanette Durham “Dot” Davis and the late Jack Davis. He was a truck driver.
He is survived by two sons, L.J. Davis (Danee) and Scott Davis (Gabrielle); seven grandchildren; mother, Dot Davis; and a sister, Tammy Davis.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sidney Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Larry C. Bright. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
