Tommy went to school in Elvins, MO. On May 27, 1977, he married his beloved wife Charlotte (Sands) Weiss, and they celebrated 42 years of marriage. He worked as a Painter in the steel manufacturing industry, for LaBarge Pipe in Wagoner. A few of Tommy's favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Weiss and Georgia Naomi (Waters) Crites; and two sisters, Jean Tiefenauer and Frankie Grayson.
He leaves behind his wife, Charlotte (Sands) Weiss of the home; son, Tim Sands of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two daughters, Cheryl Johnson of Frederick Town, Missouri and Kim Douglas and spouse Michael Lee of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sister, Kathy Lange of Park Hills, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Tiesha Douglas, Morandah Destouche, Addyson "Addi" Sands, Emalee Douglas, Andrew Sands, Logan Sands, Sabetha Sands, Brandon Sands, and Ethan Johnson; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A family memorial service will be held on May 23, 2020 at 1pm at his home in Wagoner, Oklahoma.
