Carl William Terry, 90, of Benton, died on August 26, 2007 in Benton, Arkansas. He was born on February 26, 1917 at Springfield, Missouri to the late William and Ida (Moore) Terry. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by, his wife of sixty-two years, Freda Terry, one daughter, Sharon Terry, one brother and three sisters.

Mr. Terry was a longtime resident of Marshfield, Missouri. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Benton, Arkansas, longtime member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Marshfield. He was a Gideon and Chaplain at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. He was Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Marshfield, past member of the Grand Lodge, past member of the American Legion and Oddfellows Lodge. He served many years as the Public Administrator for Webster County, Missouri.

Survivors include one son, Don Terry of Alexander; two grandchildren, Kim Cunningham of Alexander; Brad Terry and wife, Natalie of Benton; four great-grandchildren, Blake Cunningham, Bailey Cunningham, both of Alexander, Tonya Terry, Tiffany Terry, both of Benton, four sisters; Loita Ragsdale, Vieta Ragsdale, both of Marshfield, Maggie Perry of Springfield, and Juanita Carney of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
