Rapha Jean Belford, 67 of Searcy, died Aug. 28, 2007. A devout Christian, housewife and mother. She was a woman of great strength and courage and faith. She was able to deal with anything life threw at her. The challenges of raising six children, the death of her husband Thomas E. Belford in 1992, caring for her own mother until her passing and the cancer that finally took her to be with the Lord surrounded by her six children at home.
Survivors are Bruce and Brenda Belford of Searcy, Wade Belford of Searcy, Thomas and Sherry Belford of Romance, Lori and Kirk Crawford of Searcy Gina and Jerry Grabill of Beebe, Pamela Belford of Searcy, brothers and sisters: Elder Hart of Cabot, Kenny Hart of Indiana, Freda Lowery of Indiana, Karen Hart of Indiana,15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren plus one on the way, four great-great-grandchildren with Kirk Crawford officiating. Preceded in death by her parents Ray and Joy Hicks Hart and her brother J.D. Hart.
Visitation: Thursday Aug. 30 at 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services Friday, Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with interment
