Annie Eloise Frick Richardson, 87, of Lexington, wife of Johnnie Lewis Richardson, Sr., graduated to her heavenly home on the night of July 3, 2020.
Born August 26, 1932 in Lexington, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest L. and Bertha Irene Corley Frick. Annie chose to spend her time in the home caring for her family and enjoyed many qualities of life. She loved cooking, gardening, canning, freezing and pickling the fruits of her labor in her younger years. She was a talented seamstress making many of her families' clothing and items in the home. However, her family was the true love of her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She enjoyed giving her time and talent to those in need. She instilled the love of family to everyone she met. She was a member of Open Heart Fellowship Church where she was involved for many years.
Surviving in addition to her loving husband of 70 years are a daughter, Shirley R. Dover of Lexington; two sons, Johnny Richardson, Jr. and David Richardson both of Lexington; one brother, Leon Frick of Pomaria; two grandchildren, LTC Paul J. Painter (Marsha) of Hawaii and Blaine Richardson (Alyssa) of West Columbia; five great grandchildren, Christian, Elijah, Madison, Hartley and Georgia. She also has a number of nieces, nephews and other extended family. Annie was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Irene Frick.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, July 7th at Woodridge Memorial Park with Mr. David Allen officiating. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home Lexington from 11 AM until 12 Noon on Tuesday.
The family would like to express deep gratitude to Mrs. Carol Jodie, a faithful neighbor, who unselfishly gave her many talents to assist the family in the care of their mother.
The family suggest that those desiring to make memorials please do so to Open Heart Fellowship Church or Billy Graham Ministries, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201.
