SHAMROCK - Fred Johnson, 91, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Quail Cemetery at Quail with the Rev. James Martindale, retired, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors.
Mr. Johnson had lived in Collingsworth County since 1911. He worked as a farmer and rancher all of his life.
He married Rose Bell Peggram in 1926 at Wellington. She died in 1993.
Survivors include two sons, Clifford Johnson of Amarillo and Wayne Johnson of Shamrock; a daughter, Alice Moore of Hereford; a grandson; and two greatgrandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, Texas 79107.
