Obituary from an unknown Illinois newspaper:
Margaret Keith was born near Saidora, Illinois March 11, 1863, and departed from this life December 19, 1935, at her home in Kilbourne at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 8 days.
Margaret Keith was united in marriage with Frank Friend February 22, 1893. This couple lived happily together for more than twenty-five years, during which time they moved from Saidora to Kilbourne. Here Mrs. Friend came to be loved by the entire community, being affectionately called "Aunt Mag" by all who knew her. Frank Friend passed away July 11, 1918. Margaret was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. In 1911 she joined the Baptist church and since that time has been one of its most faithful and untiring servants. She was married to Henry Maseman October 12, 1920. This marriage was an unusually happy one, but was broken all too soon by Mr. Maseman's death April 10, 1926.
"Aunt Mag" was a loving and devoted wife as well as a true and generous friend. She always stood ready to sacrifice her own comfort for the pleasure of others. She was a pillar of the community that can never be replaced. Mrs. Maseman was fond of traveling. She was a member of the Prairie Farmer Trippers Club and enjoyed vacations with that group. In her last illness she was lovingly cared for by Fred Clark, a nephew who has been her constant companion for more than two years, and Elizabeth Shaeffer, a niece, and by her innumerable other relatives and friends. Both parents, three brothers, two sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her death, several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and countless host of friends.
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me,
And may there be no moaning at the bar,
When I put out to sea.

Funeral services were held at the Kilbourne Baptist church Sunday December 22, 1935 at 2:00 p. m. with Rev. E. L. Banta officiating . Interment was made in Bethel cemetery near Saidora, Illinois with Lintner Funeral Service in charge. Music was furnished by Ruth Barrett and Mrs. John Griffin, with Marie Barrett at the piano. The many beautiful flowers were cared for by Virgil Murphy, Addie Murphy, Dorothy Davenport, Gladys Sisson, Ollie Wallace, Alice Blakely and Pauline Daniel. The pall bearers were Buddy Keith, Ted Keith, Herman Keith, Arthur Keith, Lennie Keith and Winnie Clark.
