Helen Jean Prince, age 75, of Mendon, Illinois, died on Friday, July 3, 2020 in Blessing Hospital. Helen was born on November 12, 1944 in Bloomfield, Iowa, the daughter of James Arthur and Mary Lavonne (Rice) McKnight. She married Glen Dale Prince on December 2, 1965. He survives.

Helen was a graduate of Memphis Missouri High School and later graduated from the Gem City Business School in Quincy. She was of the Baptist faith.

Helen worked at Motorola until its closing. She then worked at Methode Electronics, Quintron Corporation and Glenayre Electronics in the electronics department.

Helen worked on the family farm, planting, plowing and harvesting. She also loved to work in her garden and canned many fruits and vegetables. Helen was a good friend to everyone she knew and especially her family.

Cremation rites have been accorded to Helen. Private graveside services will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or to an animal charity of the donor's choice.
