Helen A Simpson, age 96, of Eureka, California, formerly of Fresno California, passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2020. Helen was born to Addison and Lillian Armitstead on September 11, 1923 in Lapointe, Utah.
Helen was a teacher in the Fresno Unified School System for 24 years and proudly served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II.
Helen is survived by her daughter Jill Locke; grandson Nathan Locke and his wife Heather; grandson Jeremy Locke; granddaughter Rachel Winn and her husband, Jed; Sarah Guymon and her and her husband Matthew; Matthew Locke and his wife Kacie; granddaughter Mary Jolley and her husband Blake; grandson Blake Locke and his wife Karen; and 21 great grandchildren.
