Patsy was born on June 2, 1943 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Floyd & Ella (Barnes) Brady. On October 5, 1959 she married the love of her life, Wayne Kemp. Patsy was a kind Christian soul who loved Jesus. She was a great mother who was known for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and keen sense of humor. She spent much of her life in support of the family music business for her husband, Wayne, and her son, Robert. She loved her children, grandchildren, siblings, other family, her flowers, horses and dogs.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Kemp; her son Johnny Kemp; her daughter, Paula Hosale; her parents, Floyd & Ella (Barnes) Brady; her brother Thomas Brady; and her sisters, Pauline Fairchild and Peggy Barrow.
She is survived by her children, Robert Kemp of Lafayette, TN and Natalie Hudgins of Millersville, TN; her sister Mary Lewis of Washington state; her brother Paul Brady of Washington state; her sister Barbara Barnett of Ochelata, OK; her sister Naomi Herbert and husband Gary of Pretty Prairie, KS; her brother John Brady and wife Jan of Bartlesville, OK; 11 grandchildren, Joshua Kemp, Jason Kemp, Amber (Kemp) Quillen, Emily (Kemp) Donnelly, Kaitlin (Kemp) Reagan, Joanie (Hudgins) O'Sail, Jennie (Hudgins) Hooper, Kimber Hudgins, William Hosale, Becky (Hosale) Kerstner, and Jeffrey Hosale; numerous great-grandchildren; many other family members and friends.
Funeral Services for Patsy Kemp were conducted Thursday afternoon, January 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Hatton Allen officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
