BULLARD, BRENDA KAY, age 63, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 after a long-fought battle with ovarian cancer, at her home with her husband by her side.
Due to the ongoing indoor gathering restrictions by executive order, a private funeral service for Brenda will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at 11 a.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Benjamen Evers officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Memorial contributions may be made to Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes are available at the funeral chapel. Friends are invited to attend a public visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Brenda was born on May 22, 1957, in Clare, Michigan, the daughter of John and Edith (Bushong) Koval. She married Kenneth Bullard on July 9, 1974. Brenda was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Isabella County Medical Care Facility for over 30 years. She loved time spent with her grandchildren, camping, traveling, sewing, crafting, and quilting. Brenda also enjoyed working with Ken in the garage

Brenda is survived by her spouse Ken Bullard; children Robin (Dan) Koons, David (Jennifer) Bullard, Jammie (Jamie) Gulick; grandchildren Shellaine, Burgandie (Evan), Tealle, Forrest, Conner, Devon, Cameron, Khaila; great-grandchild Anayhia; brother Rick Koval; and sister Cris McPhall.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Benita Host.
