She was united in holy matrimony to Emmanuel Taylor on July 16, 1983. She worked for Precious Little One Daycare for five years and for Anna’s Linen Service for five years.

Debra was outgoing, a comedian, kind-hearted, and enjoyed holiday events with family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Eddie and Meena Tucker Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Emmanuel Taylor Jr. of Rosedale, Mississippi; two daughters, Catrice Tucker-Jones of Chicago, Illinois, and Eraina (Charlie) Young of Burleson, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Eugene Shepard of New York, New York, and Walter and Evetta Shepard of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, three sisters, Jeanette Shine of San Francisco, California, Doris Monroe of Lewisville, Texas, and Diane Shepard of Oak Creek, Wisconsin; in-laws, Gloria Gray, Sheila Taylor and Jan Taylor, all of Kankakee, Illinois, Patrisha and Earbie Johnson and Robert Taylor, all of Louisville, Kentucky, Darrol and Ilene Taylor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Denise Gray, Deborah Gray and Darlene Gray, all of Chicago, Illinois; special friends, Cynthia Hairston of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Tammie Butler of Kankakee, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jamaad Taylor and a sister, Geraldine Vincent.
