Raymond James Freeman, 88, of Keller, Texas passed away on July 4, 2020.

The family will receive friends during visitation on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel for visitation from 11:00a.m. to 12:00pm. A Vigil service will follow. Mr. Freeman will be laid to rest at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery where military honors will be presented at a private graveside service.

Raymond, also lovingly known as Ray or Buddy by many family and friends, was born on July 29, 1931 to parents, Raymond G. Freeman and Florence Managun Freeman in Gloversville, New York, where he was raised. He proudly served his country from 1950 to 1953 as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force.

He married Carole Sue Onufryk in 1961 and had two sons. Ray worked in four color printing for many years specializing in Sporting Events, Architecture and many other types of publications. He was an avid gardener and sports enthusiast. In his later years he enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his sons and grandchildren. A kind and loving father, grandfather and friend will be dearly missed.

Raymond is survived by his sons, David Freeman, and wife, Sage; Michael Freeman and wife, Alison; numerous grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
