Guy Stinebaugh

Guy Stinebaugh, 65, of Sherwood, died in his sleep at his residence at about 1 o'clock Saturday morning. Death was attributed to natural causes.

A retired painter and paper hanger, he had been a resident of Sherwood for almost 60 years, moving there when he ws six years old.

The body was taken to the residence by Cox Funeral Home at 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The body will lie in state until time for funeral services from the Sherwood Baptist Church at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Calvin Swearingen, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at Sherwood.

Mr. Stinebaugh is survived by the widow; five sisters, mrs. George Davis of Ozona, Mrs. O. A. Carr of San Angelo, Mrs. George Murphy of Fort Worth, Mrs. J. A. Barrett of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Vina Lackey of Brackettville. Two brothers, D. B. of Ballinger and Tyra Stinebaugh of Bronte also survive.

Pallbearers will be George Thomas, Sam Thomas, Jack Anderson, OA Carr, George Murphey and Guy Davis.
