Bessie Blahuta, of West, formerly of Penelope, passed away late Friday evening, May 13, 1994 at West Rest Haven.

A rosary was recited 3 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by funeral services at 3:15 p.m., with Rev. John Melnar officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near Penelope.

Mrs. Blahuta was born July 12, 1902 in Penelope, the daughter of John and Mary Holub. She married Emil Blahuta on October 22, 1923 in Penelope. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1981. She was a housewife, homemaker, and worked on the fmily farm. She lived most of her life in the Penelope area. She was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Penelope.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Pallbearere were T. C. Nors, Ron Holub, Mike Holub, Larry Holub, Dennis Holub and Alton Roskydal.

Memorials may be made to the West Rest Haven Memorial Fund.
