She worked for Psychianna and was a housekeeper for local residents.
She met Everett Wayne Boyd and they were married at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Moscow Nov. 1, 1941, just before Everett left to serve in the Pacific during World War II. She and Everett had three children, Alan Boyd and Bruce Boyd, both of Moscow, and Sheila Boyd Raymond of Payette, Idaho.
Esther prided herself in her homemaking and sewing skills. She loved to make clothing and other articles for herself and her family. She also loved to bake and serve her goodies to all visitors. Esther enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her home was always open to anyone who needed to be there.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; and her sisters, Hilma Johnson, Cora May and Sarah Wilkinson.
She is survived by her children, her sister Alma Johnson of Lakewood, Wash., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Esther will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
