Sonya Rena Richardson, age 49, of Trion passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020.
Rena was employed for over 20 years with the Roper Corp. in LaFayette.
She was preceded in death by her father Lewis LeBron McWhorter; grandparents, Lewis McWhorter, Claymon and Christine “Cricket” Burgess; mother-in-law, Yvonne King Richardson; and brother-in-law, Tracy Eugene Richardson.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Richardson; daughter, Sky Richardson; son, Cody Richardson; grandchildren, Zoey Slayton and Brylan Chambers; mother, Shirley McWhorter; grandmother, Myrtle McWhorter; father and mother-in-law, Julius and Jackie Richardson; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Kelly Richardson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ken Johnson officiating.
Interment in West Hill Cemetery in Trion.
Pallbearers are Lake Smith, Brian Wilson, Brandon Adams, Ray Henson, Ronald Burgess and Claude Burgess.
Honorary pallbearer is Cody King.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
