Dustin Scott Watkins, 44, of San Angelo, Tx, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Dustin was born on November 20, 1975, to Brian Scott Watkins and Cheri Theresa Jackson in Ballinger, Texas.

He was a massive ancient history buff and enjoyed Greek mythology as well. He loved Star Wars, Clint Eastwood, and the chameleons that he raised. Above all, Dustin loved his family, especially his daughters.

He is preceded in death by his brother Quincy Watkins.

Dustin is survived by his mother Cheri Watkins of San Angelo; father Scott Watkins and wife Stormie Watkins; his daughters Destyne Hamilton of Georgetown, and Taylor Watkins of San Angelo; Brother Jack Watkins and wife Michelle of Ballinger, Sister Randi Calson and husband Chris of Louisiana, and sister Sheena Schwertner also of Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles. Dustin will be especially missed by his best friend, Dallas, his dog.

Dustin will be honored at his service by his honorary pallbearers and dear friends Patrick McMillan, Nathan Gallant, Chance Ames, Wesley Watkins, Wesley Hill, Todd Alderman, Dylan Watkins, Ray Reyes, Vince Mendoza, and Bryan Koonce.

A funeral service will be held for Dustin on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 2:00 pm at the chapel at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas.
