Josephine C. (McLaughlin) Ward of Charlestown, passed away July 4, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Francis X. "Red" Ward. Devoted mother of John Ward, Kathleen Getchell, Maureen Puglielli, Daniel Ward and the late Francis X. Ward Jr. Loving Nana to 9 grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren.
Beloved sister of the late Mary Devlin, Rita Feeley, Ann Doherty, Helen "Dimps" McLaughlin, Frank and John McLaughlin. Also many loving nieces & nephews.
She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated at St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1950. Josephine was a homemaker most of her adult life where she took great pride and love in taking care of her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, Josephine enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, reading and visiting the Golden Age Center in Charlestown. She was always willing to help anyone in need at anytime in her life.

Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
