Marietta Reed, 90, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center.
Born on April 18, 1930, in Spring City, Tenn., Marietta was the daughter of the late William A. and Carrie Crisp Nave. She was a seamstress and retired from La-Z-Boy Corporation. Marietta enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was of Baptist faith.
Marietta was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and one great grandchild.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Reed, of Graysville; sons, Charles (Brenda) Elder, of Dayton, and Ronald Elder, of Battle Creek, Mich.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will have a private graveside service at Spring City Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation.
Vaughn Funeral Home in Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
