Mr. Nathan Fabian Allen, age 70, of Lindale, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020, at a Birmingham, Alabama hospital.

Mr. Allen was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on September 12, 1949, son of Rita Martinez Allen and the late David Ralph Allen. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War. Mr. Allen was a member of Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for JWH Transport.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Smith Allen; children, B. J. Reddish, Becky Collins, Ross Reddish, Kaiden Allen, John Allen, Paul Allen and David Allen; grandchildren, Megan Highfield, Leigha Reddish, Calep Reddish, Brooke Chastain, Kaitlyn Arrington, Jenna Reddish, Haley Reddish, Tyler Reddish and Jordan Collins; great grandchildren, Aryn Perry, Bryson Reddish, Shaley Reddish, Lukas Williams, Brendan Reddish, Kabella Reddish, Kaizlyn Highfield, Hanzlee Chastain, Kambree Miller, Ally Reddish, Dillion Lorren and B. B. Lorren; his mother, Rita Allen; four brothers, Ralph Allen, Leo Allen, Dr. Felix Allen and Dale Allen; three sisters, Sharon Barry, Jeanell Weems and Jerrolyn Comer; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 11am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. Randy Vines, the Rev. Nick Wray and Dr. Philip May officiating. Social distancing measures will be followed. Private family interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery with the American Legion Post #5 Honor Guard presenting military honors.

Mr. Allen will lie instate at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Tuesday from 4 until 7pm. Social distancing measures will be followed.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Wednesday at 10:30am and include: Active: B. J. Reddish, Ross Reddish, Kaiden Allen, Nick Wray, Justin Tyra and Bradley Williams. Honorary: Johnny Hann, Nick Hann and Johnny Wayne Hann.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
