Mrs Anna Barbara Bauer, 86, former Springfield resident, died at 1:30 pm Tuesday in the home of a son, Ralph F, in Elyria, O. She was the widow of Charles L Bauer who died here in 1929. Mrs Bauer was a native of Springfield, born August 16, 1873, the daughter of Peter and Anna Hartmann. She was a member of St Luke's Lutheran Church here. Survivors, in addition to the son in whose home she died, include another son, Harold L of Springfield; a sister Mrs Minna B Garrett of Columbus and a brother, Dr A J Hartmann of St Louis. In addition there are six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The body is to arrive at the Littleton Funeral Home where friends may call from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetery.
