Daniel McCoy "Mack" Taylor was born on April 3, 1848 in Tennessee, the son of McGoy Taylor and Lucinda (McGueg) Taylor. {It is possible that either McCoy should be McGoy, OR McGoy should be McCoy. And, it's also possible that both should be McCory.}
Mack was married on November 3, 1870 in Logan County, Kentucky to Amanda Samantha (Needham) Taylor (1851-1952), the daughter of Almira Maria (Dorris) (Needham) Sears (1820–1907) and her 1st husband Ethelburt "Ed" Needham.
Living in Anderson County, he was 89 years old and married when he died of "auto-toxemia" on December 4, 1937. Burial was two days later in Andersonville Cemetery.
