"Mrs. Mary Ann Barnes died at her home in Boydstown on November 25. The deceased was aged seventy-six years, ten months and fourteen days. Her maiden name was Mary Ann Kegg and she was born and raised in Colerain township. She was united in marriage to William Barnes, who died about twenty-three years ago. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. William Stuckey, of Everett; Mrs. Rebecca Sherk, of Dakota, Ill.; Josiah Kegg, of Helixville, and John Kegg, of Little Shasta, Cal. Services were held at the late home of the decedent Wednesday morning of last week and were conducted Rev. I. W. Hendricks, of the Reformed church. The body was then taken to Friend's Cove and interred in the graveyard at the Old Brick church. Rev. C. P. Wehr conducted the services in the church an at the grave."
