Hernando - SARAH ELIZABETH ADAMS PICKLE, 94, died August 26, 2007 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Born April 17, 1913, she was a descendant of early settlers of the Oak Grove Community in DeSoto County, and the beloved wife of the late John Lott Pickle. She loved cooking, gardening, fishing and many other outdoor activities and especially attending church at Oak Grove Baptist where she was a member for many years. She is survived by four sons, John T. (Debra) Pickle of Hernando, MS, James C. (Peggy) Pickle of Chattanooga, TN, David C. Pickle of Louisville, KY and Stephen H. (Marie) Pickle of Flagstaff, AZ; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Hernando Funeral Home on Thursday, August 30 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, August 31 at 1 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
