WINCHESTER - Leah M. Pratt, 94 of Winchester, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2007 at the St. Vincent Randolph Hospital. Leah was born on October 3, 1912 to the late Creelie (Tom) and Mary Ann (Mock) Harshman in Saratoga, Indiana.

She graduated from Saratoga High School in 1930 and later graduated from the International Business College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was a member of the Sarasota United Methodist Church where she played the organ for Sunday School for several years and was an assistant organist for Church for a few years. She enjoyed music, sewing and cooking. She also operated a beauty shop for nine years. She was a member of the Extension Home Makers Club for 50 years. She was a member of the Winchester Wise Owls.

Survivors include her daughter, Winifred Ann McCammon of Terre Haute, Indiana; three grandchildren, Colett (husband, Vince) Freeman of Ashville, North Carolina, Colene (husband, Dan) Ford of Paducah, Kentucky, and Chris (wife, Brenda) Hollowell of Brazil, Indiana; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Freeman, Kristen, Grant and Katelyn Ford, Ryan, Nicholaus and Landon Hollowell; one great-great-grandson, Skylar Hollowell; and one step-great-granddaughter, Megan Butler.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth (Peg) Pratt in December of 1987.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the Thayer Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastors Jan Bunch and Carl Greene officiating. Burial will be in the Saratoga Cemetery, Saratoga, Indiana.

Friends of the family may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the funeral home.
